About Me

My photo
Ms.Woods
My name is Mrs. Woods and I am proud to be an Art teacher at GWS. As I enter my 8th year teaching in Union City, I continue to work with students to create exciting and creative art projects to be displayed in our school. My goal with each child is to challenge their imagination, encourage personal expression, and develop an appreciation for art. Students show great excitement to use a variety of media including drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture and clay. Art projects are created and inspired from the core curriculum. Art history teaches the importance of other artists and cultures and will be incorporated into art lessons. School displays and multi-art exhibits will provide opportunities to showcase the talents of our students. Being an art teacher is the best job in the world!!
